JACKIE – I’D LIKE TO HELP BY DOING SOMETHING REALLY MEANINGFUL
Some really cool people in our Association. Many times, especially during the Holiday season, maybe Holiday showdown, I was approached by earnest and well-meaning fellow travelers communicating their desire to do some good, some real good. While I would prefer when approached to being addressed by my real name, MR. PRESIDENT, I appreciate the desire to do some real good. Something to make 2012 a watershed moment, a time to look back at with pride, to express appreciation for all given to us.
Suggestions, no really pleas:
1. Find a job, hopefully a job that could then turn into a career, but at least a job for a Drug Court participant. We are connected people. The folks who can pay our significant fees and fund our nice lifestyles are usually movers and shakers. They employ people or know people who can make that happen.
The Bar Association does not hold a luncheon in January. The next luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7th. We hope to see you then.
Thank you for the donations ...
